Strategic Group

Our Strategic group sets strategic direction and operational priorities. They meet no less than 6 times a year in public.

The HWS Strategic Group is made up of volunteers, who steer the strategic direction and decide on our priorities. Ultimate accountability for HWS lies with the SVS Executive Committee, who are again volunteers.

Suki worked in the public sector in Hampshire for 35 years covering many senior strategic and operational leadership roles with Southampton City Council. She was Southampton City Council’s Chief Strategy Officer until August 2018. Her public sector experience includes area-based regeneration programmes, community safety, social cohesion, Sure Start programmes and corporate services. Since 2019 Suki has been pursuing her passion and interest in health, inequalities, discrimination and community development through her consultancy work and voluntary activities.
