The UK is still falling behind when it comes to survival rates after cancer. The UK has remained at the bottom of the table for six key cancers: colon, rectum, breast, lung, ovarian and prostate since the year 2000. The promised extra funding from the government will be used to improve the cancer facilities ensuring the best possible treatment will be provided.
