Healthwatch Southampton(HWS) would like to recognise and thank Lesley Gilder for her contribution to the work of HWS over the past 12 years
Lesley began volunteering in 2012 as a public member of the Local Involvement Network (S – Link) sitting on the committee. When local Healthwatch started in 2013 Lesley transferred to continue her involvement in helping to improve health and social care in the city and was an active member of the strategic group.
Lesley led on primary care and was a Healthwatch rep at the local primary care commissioning group bringing the voice of patients to these meetings.
We would like to extend our appreciation and thanks for all of her time and efforts to bring about positive changes for users of health services.
We wish Lesley all the best in her future endeavours.
