COVID is a real mixed bag in Southampton, the latest Government data map shows.
Six districts are now in the worst possible category (shaded dark maroon) as their case rates have exceeded 800 per 100,000 people.
But for the first time in around two months, more than 10 of the 31 areas reported a decrease in overall case numbers.
In the seven days to October 21, the latest data available, Freemantle reported 65 cases, up 31, which skyrocketed it into the worst category.
Townhill Park saw a decrease of 21, but is still dark maroon. Most of Shirley, Weston and Maybush also sit in this category.
