The Royal College of Radiologists has found that low numbers of consultants are causing problems with the quality of care being provided. The overstretched services will eventually reach breaking-point and lead to problems with treatments. Cancer services will be a key priority for the NHS with a large percentage of the promised money from the government going into the departments.
