Busy People
Meets every Monday from 1.30pm-2.30pm, except on Bank Holidays and Partnership Board days.
Organised by both Choices Advocacy and the Learning Disability Partnership Board at its base at Choices, The Warren Centre, Warren Cres, Southampton SO16 6AY.
Busy People is a reference group run by the learning disability community and a professional, often a student or a Choices staff member.

The Learning Disability Partnership Board
Meets every 9 weeks on Mondays it comprises of people with learning disability carers, professionals, voluntary sector and local health and council officials.

The Hub
Meets every second Tuesday of the mouth. Run for the benefit of self advocates by self advocates and Choices . We have guest speakers who talk on a range topics and we discuss a range of topics from health to public transport.
It is for people with learning disabilities and learning difficulties across the city for both Choices members and non members.

News update on learning disabilities and learning difficulties (17.06.16)
This Mouth @ the Hub we had a BBC South Today team filming a news item for South Today and BBC South news. I and many others were interviewed about the Hub and other services across the city for people with learning disability.
This time @ the partnership board one of the things we talked about was social care and direct payments and also benefit changes. Plus we discussed automated services on telephones for all organisations including both in the pubic service and the private sector which I brought up.
